Dan is the founder of Integraph, an HR software platform for employee lifecycle management.
Previously, he built the people operations (HR) function for a high-growth startup, Quixey, as they grew from 10 to 250 employees worldwide. Dan's experience covers much of the HR function, bringing a unique perspective to implementing effective programs in startup environments.
He is a graduate of James Madison University, where he studied Public Policy and Administration.
My name's Anita and I'm currently the Manager of HR and Operations at a tech company in Palo Alto called Wavefront. I received my undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley in 2010 with a Major in Integrative Biology. I worked in retail for a few years, holding various management positions before I realized that my passion revolved around people operations. I did a career switch at this time and concurrently decided to return to school to pursue my MBA. I enrolled in Santa Clara University's Evening MBA program in Fall of 2014 and have supplemented my working knowledge with what I have learned academically. I will be receiving my MBA, concentration in Leading Innovative Organizations, in June 2017. In the past three years, I have held several progressing HR roles, starting from a Technical Recruiter to now overseeing all of HR.
In my spare time, I love sampling new foods and once I graduate, look forward to traveling much more with my newfound free time!
John Drexler is the founder, managing director, and lead consultant of Ronin Venture Partners, a Silicon Valley/ San Francisco management consulting firm specializing in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Business Development, and Retained Search. John has successfully completed 150+ projects for 50+ clients ranging from start-ups to global enterprises.
Prior to starting Ronin, John worked in HR/OD positions of increasing responsibility at Sun Microsystems, Cisco, and Apple. John’s educational credentials include an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science with honors, an MBA, and the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s three-year certificate program in Organization and Systems Development.
John has mentored dozens of students, new grads, and early-career professionals (0-5 years experience) interested in HR and OD, including five SJSU students through the school’s SHRM chapter’s mentoring program.

John Salangsang has worked as a Career Counselor with the SJSU Career Center for over 5 years. He is currently the liaison to the College of Business. In his role, he has worked with hundreds of students and is grateful to have assisted many of them in finding a job or internship. John also has experience in employer relations, assisting and consulting with employers seeking to recruit SJSU students. His experience working with both students and employers gives him insight into what it takes to find a job/internship and he enjoys sharing what he has learned.
John earned his Psychology degree at San Francisco State University then went on to earn his Masters in Counseling Education at San Jose State University.
Jane is an accomplished HR professional who decided to change her career into HR in 2011. Not having the educational knowledge, she completed her HR Management Certification from UCSC Extension. She is now studying for the PHR exam. She is currently a corporate recruiter for GoerTek Electronics, a consumer electronics company in Santa Clara. She volunteers as Social Media Coordinator on the Social Media Board from the NCHRA Santa Clara Chapter administering and posting NCHRA events in the South Bay on the NCHRA Santa Clara Chapter Facebook group, as well being a mentor for a SJSU student for the SHRM San Jose Chapter. In her spare time, she loves watching movies, spending time with her friends, running 5K-10K races, reading up on current events, and being a foodie by eating out at new restaurants in the Bay Area.
