We had Human Resource professionals come out and help our members get professional feed back on their resumes. This event helped out student members better prepare themselves for their next job application.
Hang Nguyen has been with Richmar Associates since 2013 and now serves as a Senior Recruiter. She is well versed with recruiting in the high tech industry in the Bay Area. Screening resumes is, of course, a fundamental key of being a Recruiter and she is glad to provide any support needed.
My name is Courtney Ballagh and I am an Account Director for Premier Staffing in Redwood City! I received my Bachelor's degree from UC Santa Cruz in Environmental Studies and am currently pursuing my MBA at Santa Clara University. After spending a few years in retail with Michael Kors and Coach, I have now been working for Premier 's Direct Hire Administrative team for a little over one year. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, and running!
Stephanie Murray has recently joined Richmar Associates as a Staffing Manager. She has a B.A. in English and Visual Communications with a minor in Biology. She has worked alongside and assisted various recruiters in screening resumes. Creating a resume that reflects a candidate in the best possible light is important and she is happy to provide support to students aiming for their best reflection
Paul Murphy recently joined the Santa Clara County Office of the Counsel the Manager of the County’s Whistleblower Program. Paul has been with the County for over 10 years in various capacities. He has served as a Healthcare Business Development Analyst at Valley Medical Center, Health Policy Aide to Supervisor Joe Simitian, Senior Policy Analyst for Supervisor Liz Kniss, and was most recently the Budget and Policy Director for Supervisor Chavez. Paul has extensive experience in the field of compliance and performance audits, serving as Compliance and Internal Auditor for Santa Clara Family Health Plan from 2006 to 2009, and as a Senior Analyst for the Harvey M. Rose Accountancy Corporation from 2001 to 2006. Paul has broad knowledge of County operations and departmental functions, and has worked with a variety of employees, electeds, and members of the public.Paul received his Bachelor of Psychology from the University of New Hampshire (UNH) and his Master of Public Health from San Diego State University. Paul lives in downtown San Jose with his wife and two children. While at UNH Paul served as the Service Chairman of Sigma Nu Fraternity, was a member and business manager of the college’s oldest men’s acapella singing group (The New Hampshire Gentlemen) and was also a counselor for Freshmen Camp and Freshmen Orientation.
