SHRM at SJSU has officially adopted a portion of the Guadalupe River. This is an entirely new initiative in collaboration with Valley Water, who is Santa Clara County’s water supplier. One of Valley Water’s missions is to reduce flood risk throughout the community they serve, and SHRM at SJSU wants to be apart of that. Keeping the creeks and streams throughout Santa Clara County clean is an integral part of reducing flood risk. Hence why we have decided to adopt a portion of the Guadalupe River between West Trimble Rd. and Montague Expressway. If you care about the environment and your community, come and join SHRM on April 29th at 10:00 am. Safety equipment, as well as swag from Valley Water will be provided for free!
