Cheryl Roy, Elizabeth Lee, Miracle Ricarte and Sarbjit Kaur placed 3rd at this year's SHRM California State HR Games Academic Competition. To recognize this achievement, they received medals, a plaque and a check for $350 from the SHRM California State Council.

Additionally, the top 4 teams qualified to compete at the next level in the SHRM Regional HR Games Academic Competition which will be held at Boise State University in Idaho on April 3 - 4, 2009. The top four teams included some of the top ranked teams in the country as follows: two Fresno State teams, who placed 4th and 1st, and one team from Cal State Stanislaus who placed 2nd (last year's winners). It is truly an honor to be ranked side by side with these two schools. Congratulations!
